New Home for Marley

It is difficult to write and say we have had to find a new home for our puppy, Marley.  About a month ago, we began suspecting that she had killed a few of our chickens.  Then, one of our neighbors caught her red-handed in their chicken coop ... all eleven of their chickens dead.  :(  After making restitution with the neighbors, and after coming to the conclusion (after much research) that a chicken-killing dog probably can't be retrained, we made the hard decision to relocate her.

Luckily, my parents, who have Marley's brother Scout, were willing to take her in.  So this past weekend, we took her with us to the farm, where she will have miles and miles to run ... and no chickens to kill.

We are glad she is at a good home, but we will miss her!
