Blossoms
Gage took these pictures last week. Those of you who have heard about our week will be able to tell that these were taken EARLY in the week. Pre-fat lip. Pre-black eye. (separate incidents ...). Let's just say it was a rough week and leave it at that, okay?
But the blossoms, oh the blossoms! Aren't they beautiful this year? Just imagine how amazing they will be once these peach trees are fully grown!
Yes, I realize there isn't a single blossom in a few of these pictures, but I couldn't resist posting them. :)
Gage says we have to pick off all the fruit again this year to allow the trees to grow. *sigh* Someday soon, I will have my very own peaches.
But not this year.

He's Back!
Our wayward dog is home!
After returning from a weekend away, we found Koda gone, but weren't too concerned, as he often goes to visit the neighbors when we are gone overnight. But after calling all the neighbors, checking with the pound AND the humane society, and still NO sign of Koda, we were concerned.
I put a LOST DOG listing in the newspaper yesterday (for today's paper), and luckily, the nice family who found him saw it and called first thing this morning! Apparently, he has been three miles down the road, living the high life at a local doctor's home ... along with all of her kids and their dogs. Hmmmmm. Perhaps we shouldn't let him out anymore. He may decide to go back! :)
Bruce will be SO happy to see him tonight! This morning, Bruce stood on our porch and just called and called for Koda. Nearly broke my heart! Thank goodness we have our wayward dog home again!
